Fire Damage Re-instatement – Spring 2016

Home Farm Cottage was a picturesque detached and thatched period cottage occupying an elevated position to a large site to the hamlet of Langrish just outside Petersfield.

The property suffered major fire damage in early 2016 leaving most but not all of the main external walls standing. The cottage, although having very old origins, is not Listed but the clients opted to restore rather than demolish and rebuild.

We were appointed and prepared detailed drawings and specifications which included a number of significant changes to the original.

Tenders were obtained, Pegasus Building Contractors appointed and works are ongoing, but Cranes were not retained for the construction period with the client taking on the project management role.
