    Stephen joins us from a different profession with over 25 years’ experience in the financial services sector. He was a fixed income trader and broker covering US, European and UK government bond markets in London and Frankfurt for most of his career preceded by a spell in the short-term money markets. Though not from a surveying background he brings a drive to build business relationships and calm determination to get things done.

  • Edward Prentice FRICS

    Senior Consultant

    Edward has over 50 years’ experience as a Chartered Surveyor and is one of our Consultants. He originally worked in Kent before qualifying in London and then spent 12 years overseas in Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Singapore, during which time he worked throughout Asia on a wide variety of agribusiness, commercial and industrial engagements.

    On returning to England he was a Commercial Manager for the London Docklands Development Corporation, before becoming a Partner with an international surveying practice in London’s West End. He was responsible for promoting and undertaking the firm’s extensive international real estate engagements and has worked in nearly 40 countries around the world.

    He established his own Practice based in Kent 25 years ago, handling many types of agribusiness, commercial, industrial and leisure real estate agency, consultancy, valuation and expert witness work throughout Britain. He advises a wide variety of clients on standard, historical and unusual property situations, acquisitions and disposals nationwide. The Practice’s clients include SME’s and major public commercial and industrial groups in both the public and private sectors and their professional advisers. He assists many property owners with resolving their boundary issues.

    He has always been an active member of business and social organisations wherever he was working. He is married with two adult daughters.

  • Nathan Dartmouth BSc (Hons) MRICS

    Chartered Building Surveyor

    Nathan is an experienced building surveyor and registered valuer. He has a wide knowledge base built up over 25 years covering all aspects of commercial and residential surveying including regulation and planning, party wall matters, expert witness through to dilapidations and dispute resolutions.

  • Grant Walker BSc (Hons) MRICS

    Registered Valuer

    Grant qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and member of the RICS in 1999 whilst employed as a Valuation Surveyor at a prominent London based consultancy. He went on to work as an investment agent for several years at two other leading London practices acting for Pension Funds, Property Companies and high net worth individuals.

    Prior to joining Chandler Hawkins Grant was a Director at a Surrey based Commercial Property Development & Asset Management Company. He retains Registered Valuer status under the RICS.

    Robin has been in the surveying industry since qualifying in 1989. Having worked for many residential and commercial property businesses in and around Portsmouth and Hampshire Robin also lectured on estate management degree at Southampton Institute for many years. A well-known and liked member of the property fraternity across the region we are very pleased to have Robin on our team.
